He has a wide experience in various industries like FMCG, Aerospace, Automotive, Tooling and Electrical. He is specialized in application of Computer based Design & Manufacturing (CAD-CAM) digital technology in the field of product design, project management, manufacturing engineering &production systems.
For the past 15 years he has been extensively working in the field of Lean and has successfully implemented Lean concepts in various processes like Product development, Project management, Tool Engineering and Manufacturing.
His breakthrough achievements include,
- Lead Time Reduction in New Product Development - From Product Design to Sample Approval by 50% (from16 Weeks to 8 Weeks).
- Tool Development Time Reduction - Conceptualized, Redesigned and implemented a LEAN cell-based Tool Manufacturing system to rapidly reduce the lead-time.
- Projects Management - Developed a customized project management model to execute and monitor projects for new Business/ new product line/ new Process development. This model was developed in line with Design for Lean Sigma concepts.
Presently, he is a partner in Leanmind Consulting, a company which provides consulting to industries in implementation of Lean in Business Processes and Manufacturing Systems.
He is a mechanical Engineer and has work experience of 30+ years in various companies like Hero Honda Group, Sigma Electric Corp- USA and Leanmind Consulting.
He has a wide experience in different industries like Automotive, Telecom and Electrical. He has obtained Lean Training from TBM Consulting-USA at their training center in Geneva. He is specialized in efficiently running operations having Supply Chain across the continents.
For the past 14 years he has been extensively working in the field of Lean and has successfully implemented Lean concepts in various processes like Production, Procurement, Vendor Management, Supply chain Management, Warehouse Management etc.
Has been instrumental in raising the bar for the complete business cycle from identifying the issues in the business till successfully obtaining results and thereafter ensuring a team in place to sustain the raised level.

- Creating a Culture of Improvement through Involvement and Ownership.
